How to Build a Strategic Library Marketing & Communications Plan

Join us for an in-depth series of training sessions on how to create and implement a strategic marketing and communications plan. First, we will cover the “why” and “how” of creating a strategic marketing and communications plan. In subsequent sessions we will walk through the steps to identify and create goals, objectives, key messages, audiences, strategies and tactics. Finally, we will discuss how to pull it all together and present it to stakeholders in a meaningful way.

This course will consist of a face-to-face training on January 13th then continue through 4 online sessions. During the series, Cordelia Anderson will help guide participants through their marketing and communications plans.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will learn the components of a strategic marketing and communications plan.
  • Participants will develop a plan tailored to their library organization.
